Baby Noah died from a spontaneous miscarriage on February 20th, 2014. His mother, Lara, named him Noah because it means “rest” and “peace”.
Noah was only 12 weeks and 5 days old when he died. Even though he passed away, his perfectly formed body displays the development of a new human life, the most spectacular miracle on earth.
Noah’s mother, Lara, said the following about Noah:
“Even though he only lived for twelve weeks, Noah was special to me. I am blessed that I was able to hold him, to see that he was real. Just like every other mother, this first photo of my child will always be special to me. I am devastated that we lost Noah, but I know that his 12 weeks of life had a purpose. His body reveals the miracle of human life. If he could help show one mother considering abortion the beauty of her child, then our loss would be worth it.”
Noah, may you rest in peace. We pray that our nation will see in you the intrinsic value that every human life possesses, no matter how small or frail.
Here at the Henry County Pregnancy Care Center, we celebrate LOVE every single day!
We're all about LOVE...love for mommies, love for babies, love for God and His gift of LOVE and life!
If you or someone you know is struggling with an unplanned pregnancy and need some LOVE and guidance during this stressful and important time, that's why we're here...to share God's LOVE with all of you in a practical way.
So celebrate LOVE as we do every day...and HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY from us to you!
Since the historic federal law decision Roe v. Wade 41 years ago this past week, there is no federal law that protects unborn human babies. Human beings, created in the very image of God, can be destroyed before birth at the whim of their mothers.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for protecting helpless baby sea turtles from senseless killing. But is a sea turtle more precious than a human baby? Absolutely not!
Why do so many of the same people who passionately fight for the rights of animals see nothing wrong in the killing of unborn human beings?
Something to ponder....
One of the major fundraisers for the Henry County Pregnancy Care Center, the idea behind Baby Bottle Boomerang is simple. Churches or organizations supporting our cause pass the bottles out to their members, who take a bottle home or to their office and drop change or bills into the bottle. After a month or so, the bottles are collected and the change adds up quickly!
While many churches do this in January in conjunction with Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, Baby Bottle Boomerang can be done any time throughout the year. What a great Mother's Day activity! If you're interested in helping us out in this way, please contact Director Janet Modjeski at the Center, firstname.lastname@example.org or 529-7298.
Sunday, January 19 is 2014's "Sanctity of Human Life" Sunday. Churches in Henry County will join churches across the nation as we remember those 55 million babies that have been victims of abortion since the historic (and tragic!) January 22, 1973 decision by the US Supreme Court that legalized abortion in this country.
Our mission at the Henry County Pregnancy Care Center is to minister to women and men who are facing unplanned pregnancies, providing them counseling and material support with the hopes that they will choose life for their babies. Nearly all of our clients do choose to have their children, but for those who may choose to terminate their pregnancies we also provide a compassionate listening ear as they heal from their loss.
Join us this coming Sunday as we mourn the millions of lives that never had a chance, and pray that our nation's eyes will be opened to the horror of this national tragedy that has already taken way too many lives.
Tiny, yet oh-so-precious lives...

Welcome to our new and improved website/blog!
Make sure you check back weekly for news and updates on what's happening at the Center!
Although the website is new, our Center is still doing what it has been doing for 28 years now...showing God's love in practical ways to women in our community facing unplanned pregnancies, offering Christian counseling as well as material support.
During this Christmas season, we anticipate being overwhelmed with need. As we all know, our community continues to struggle economically and our clients are often the hardest hit. Please, as you consider your year-end tax-deductible gifts, pray about supporting the Center however you can. It's a chance to provide real help to needy babies and families right here in our community!
Monetary donations are always tax-deductible and can be mailed to our address:

Thanks for your consideration during this season of giving...
And WELCOME to our new blog!!!
